Versatility across a variety of hospital settings
Alarm adjustments and extensions—more efficient use of staff time. Stellar 150 offers convenience for busy clinical staff who need to minimise their time by the patients’ bedside. The volume on the Stellar 150 alarms is adjustable and the alarm audibility area can be extended via the Remote Alarm II or direct connection to the Hospital alarm system through a cable.
Mobility and portability—help move patients quickly. The light weight, compact Stellar 150, with its internal battery1 is particularly well suited to get patients up and moving quickly in order to commence rehabilitation quickly. Stellar 150 makes it easier to move patients within the hospital or transfer them without disrupting therapy. The ventilator and the optional ResMed Power Station II (RPS II) external battery2 can all be practically arranged, transported and protected in the purpose-built mobility bag.
Easy monitoring—quick access to patient therapy. For quick and easy monitoring of the patient, the Stellar 150 displays live pressure curves on the screen at the touch of a button. When more detailed monitoring is required this can be downloaded in one easy step with the data management system. Real-time remote monitoring is also facilitated via EasyCare Tx and the Tx link.
Advanced functionality—for high performance and low maintenance High oxygen delivery: The device can use up to 30 L/min3 of oxygen, so a high FiO2 can be reached.
Low-inertia blower: Comprised of ResMed’s unique low inertia motor and impeller, it delivers higher performance more quietly than a conventional motor.
Removable, replaceable air path: For easier and quicker device cleaning and servicing, reducing down-time.
